Step Three: Enter Your Email & Choose Your Password. Click Create Account.
Step Four: Once you get your free account, you’ll get to this profile page. Click on the button that says Create Your Podcast Now
Step Five: Choose whether you’re starting a new podcast or importing a new one. For the sake of this tutorial, I’ll show you show to start a new one first. Click on Create New Podcast
Step Six: To take advantage of monetizing the podcast, you’ll need a paid account, so go ahead and click the button on the bottom left corner that says Upgrade to Unlimited Hosting. That will unlock the Ads Marketplace, Apple Podcasts Subscriptions Integration, PodAds – Dynamic Ads Insertion, and the Patron Program so you can make money with your content. This step is crucial!
Step Seven: You’ll be presented with Podbean’s service tiers. I recommend looking at the Unlimited Plus tier because it gives you the best monetization options for the money. For example, you get the Patron feature, which can be extremely lucrative. When you start adding up your subscribers @ $X per listener, the money grows exponentially…
For example if you had 100 listeners and had a call to action to join the Patron program, they can do it in the app & you could have different tiers they can join per month…. $1, $5, 10, etc. If you got 30 patrons @ $1-5 a signup you’re looking at $150 a month, and that’s with a teenie tiny audience that’s only going to get bigger the more you podcast.
And if you’ve already got a podcast to import, you’re bringing an audience from the jump and could be earning thousands of dollars a month just by switching over to their platform…
Step Eight: Enter your payment information, and choose the yearly option to save 25% on the cost.
